In January of 2006 The Lincoln Council on Alcoholism and Drugs in partnership with the Substance Abuse Action Coalition (SAAC) began a series of community groups in Lincoln and Lancaster County with the specific purpose of addressing underage drinking and other substance abuse issues throughout the community.
After five years of hard work, we have a lot to CELEBRATE! Participation continues to grow as the word spreads of our mission, but we still need to hear from you. Please bring your voice to the table, and network with other like-minded individuals who feel that underage alcohol use and the use of illicit drugs is not a healthy choice. Groups meet once a month for about an hour. If you’re interested in getting involved, see a list of upcoming meetings and find a community group near you. Upcoming meetings
